Antique Simon & Halbig / Heinrich Handwerck Doll #109 30” Beautiful/Excellent

Description: This doll is in great condition! She has a beautiful bisque head with a couple of light rubs but no visible damage. She has blue sleep eyes and an open mouth with 4 teeth. Her painted upper and lower lashes look great and her textured eyebrows are also in great condition. She is wearing sapphire colored dangle earrings. Her wig is attached well so I did not remove it. Her composition body is in great condition but does have some rubs, cracks and nicks (see photos). She has all of her fingers. She is fully jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees that all work well. She is stamped on her back/hip “6” and “Heinrich Handwerck // Germany”. She is marked on the back of her head “109 // 15 // DEP // Germany // Handwerck // Halbig”. Her nightgown has some stains and holes and is closed with a straight pin. Her sleeveless slip has holes and stains. Her cotton stockings have holes and don’t quite fit correctly. Her white jumper is trimmed in lace and is in great condition. She was owned by a doll collector and was displayed in a cabinet behind glass in an airconditioned room in a smoke free home.
