Description: c. 1927 with no later dates or further printing information listed ~ I believe this is a First Edition. Contains 136 numbered pages with full-page color illustrations and color drawings in-text by Margaret Evens Price. Large format ~ book is approximately 13 X 11 inches.Decorated end pages in green. The illustrations are done in Art Deco style and are very attractive. This antique green hardcover book is in ACCEPTABLE only condition. It is NOT ex-library. Pages are all present but many show rips, short tears, some pencil and crayon doodles and taped areas. Spine covering is missing and binding is loosening at the front and separated at the back [see photos]. Front cover paper pastedown is present but visibly scuffed. Much wear and rubbing on all edges the cover boards. Book is still very attractive and displays nicely. Some large pages could be framed and much of the smaller ones could be used in crafts and scrapbooking. Please view all photos and ask questions before bidding.
