Description: Interesting antique Tinsmith made tin & pewter bullet mold holder in all original patina & condition. This is rather unusual and quite interesting. The oval tin container is made in two parts for storage inside. There are 12 pewter molds that nest into the oval tin container, all of which can be easily removed. It is very solid and rather heavy. I'm just guessing that the pewter molds are for bullets??? The oval tinsmith made container is about 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 1 3/4". Each of the 12 pewter molds is about 1 1/2". As with most antique tinware, expect to see some evidence of slight rust. This is a very interesting early piece of American tinware.
