Description: Illuminate your space with this antique religious themed toleware tin lantern. Row after row of off-set cross cut outs on the oval up-sided drum-case, which houses the candle socket, add a very unique and spiritual touch to this special piece of days gone by. The drum case is surmounted by a pierced chimney beneath a fluted conical cap with large ring handle. The lantern sits in its entirety on 4 delicately swirled feet. The handmade craftsmanship and detailed work throughout make this the perfect addition for any collector or lover of historical and beautiful metalware collectibles. All measurements are shown in pictures. Condition: In vintage condition with signs of wear commiserate with age - small micro abrasion to front glass (see last pic) - front glass door is slightly askew but still opens. Slight dent to right side (see 2nd to last picture). Overall in very good condition considering age. Will be packaged with utmost care to ensure safe journey to its new home.
