Description: For your consideration is an antique serving dish with lid made byTressemanes & Vogt of Limoges, France. This particular patternnamed "Marguerite" was patented July 1 1884. This informationis stamped on the back of the piece. It also carries the blueTressemanes and Vogt stamp which states 85. I am assuming thiswas the manufacturing date. This is a pretty floral pattern with twining vines decorated with goldgilt. It measures 5" tall and 10 1/2" from handle to handle. Conditionis very nice overall. It does have a chip on the inner lid lining. Thereis light wear to gold gilt. Price reflects minor flaw. Hopefully someoneis looking for this rare pattern/ piece. Please see photos.
