DETAILS: The bottle-shaped vase resting on a circular foot with a low round body rising to a tall trumpet neck with molded ring lip inlaid with silver wire zigzag pattern. The vase's body is inlaid with silver wire of scrolling and swaying foliated motifs including stylized tulips buds; the neck is inlaid with Turkish Ottoman Sultan monogram “Tughra," and the floral band. This type of silver inlaid on wood technique can be seen on 19th-century wooden stocks of Turkish Ottoman flintlock pistols and rifles and other Ottoman wooden objects.
