These two portraits of handsome couples were purchased as "19th Century Oil Paintings". I purchased them because they had such friendly eyes & soft expressions. Both paintings are certainly on stretched canvas over wood. Evident brush strokes atop. Separating layers can be seen at edges & corners. It looks like almost pages or paper layers. Please examine photographs carefully before purchasing. No signatures or dates.
