Description: For your consideration is this vintage original wood surveyor's tripod. It adjusts from a height of 40" to 63" and appears to be un-marked. The top mounting and pivot hardware appears to be aluminum with brass bolts. The middle adjusting hardware is all brass, and the pointed feet are steel. It retains an old worn red painted surface with wear to all the metal surfaces as well. Two of the last three photos show some small cracks at the top of the sliding legs which do not pose any problems. the leather strap to buckle it all together is missing, as is one rubber slide stop on one of the legs. Again, no problems. A very nice solid example ready for whatever project you have in mind. Please study the photos and ask any questions you may have.
