These are from an unknown manufacturer, acquired from a collector /watchmaker and jeweler of vintage watches, pocket watches and accessories All the items we acquired are very high quality vintage and/or antique chains of varying styles and periods, we are generally uncertain as to dates of manufacture since most lack hallmarks. They have been cleaned (ultrasonic), but not polished as to retain their patina. Chains (both silverplate and goldplate, respectively as indicating in the respective listings) can be polished using a good silver cream polish. (Silver dips can be used, but will take away the warmth of the patina on silver or gold). Chains may have some tarnish/wear and we will include instructions on the best way to polish chains safely, if so desired. Chains that are not hallmarked have been acid-stone tested for plate/fill precious metals and results indicated* Please note, all pocket watches, watch parts, watch components, watch chains, are “sold as is and as found”. No returns on these items, so please ask questions if you have any before you bid or buy. Note that these are NOT inferior stainless steel, Asian market pieces, but NOS vintage and antique of quality metals. Testing is done on metal content by electronic GemOro gold tester and acid/stone for silver.
