Apple Macintosh Color Classic - Restored & Recapped, BlueSCSIv2 SD as HDD

Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Macintosh Color Classic computer. This model features 4MB of RAM. The logic board has been completely re-capped using all new capacitors (this is important as ALL older caps tend to leak and erode the delicate elements of the circuit board around them) and I have installed a BlueSCSI v2 in place of the mechanical hard disk (this is important as many of these older SCSI drives suffer from a condition known as "stiction", which means the read/write heads of the drive have stuck to a rubber buffer that has broken down over the years and become sticky). It uses a 2GB SD card for file storage, but is currently set at period accurate 160MB . I have also replaced the rubber feet on the bottom of the case, as they often turn to grey goo over the years. The floppy drive has been tested to read and write, but does not fully eject disks. The "eject port" is functional with the help of a straightened paperclip (I know because I installed the below OS using the original floppy disks). I have freshly installed a copy of MacOS 7.1 on the new drive and updated it with Hardware System Update 2.0. This listing is for the Color Classic, keyboard, mouse, and power cable only. I will pack and ship with great care using a new double-walled box.
