Description: Arcade1UP Angled Control Deck Upgrade Kit This kit is the perfect addition to your Arcade1Up cabinet! I never paid much attention to the flat control decks on all of my Arcade1UP cabinets until I purchased Golden Tee. With the Golden Tee cabinet, the deck design was changed from flat to angled, making it feel more like real arcade machines. So I began looking at how I could change my existing machines to angle the control deck. This kit is the result. The Angled Control Deck Upgrade Kit was designed to add the maximum angle to the Arcade1UP control deck and to provide a more finished look to your machine. In addition to adding an angle, it also helps prevent cracking the protective clear plexiglass control deck cover from over-tightening the stock screws. The kit consists of:Two custom-designed and 3D-printed angle wedges with aligned screw holes to match the deck. The design has been updated to allow the maximum angle possible and still has the screws aligned. The width was also tweaked to allow it to work with more cabinet varieties. Four longer flat-head chrome screws (one size to replace the rear deck screws and one size to replace the front deck screws).Four raised washers.The before and after photos give you an idea of how much of an angle this kit provides. On original machines, it makes the control deck blend with the vertical curve of the side cabinet. Installation is easy. Start by removing the existing four deck screws (they will not be re-used), lift the control deck, put the wedges in place (aligning them with the existing screw holes), replace the control deck, and then use the replacement screws and raised washers to secure the deck. I have installed this on all of my Standard Cabinets, Cocktail Cabinet, and Legacy Cabinet machines. It has also been tested with wide deck machines (TMNT, Simpsons, etc.), so it provides a universal fit. All wedges are printed black to blend in with the machine so it looks like it is an original part of the cabinet.
