Description: You are bidding on a Franz Hermle Mantle Clock of nice proportions, complete with it`s original pendulum and working key. The case is in lovely condition with what looks like Oak veneer, there is the odd small marks to the case. The dial is a bit discoloured and the number twelve has been touched up. Please note: the screw on disc that secures the hands is missing, does not affect it`s operation. Measuring approximately 11" (28cm) wide by 8 5/8" (22cm) high. This example has an eight day Westminster chime movement, chimes at 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and fully strikes on the hour, the clock has been keeping very good time, may need a little alteration when moving to different different areas i.e. temperature, air pressure etc. A really nice example.
