Reference materials indicate that this undated book was published in 1929, the same year as the first British edition. This book measures 9 3/4" x 7 1/2" and is 235 pages. It is in Very Good condition with some edgewear to the binding (i.e., please see images #4 and #5 below), with a former-owner's bookplate and her 1929 signature on the front endpapers, and with some gentle overall wear. There are twelve, full-page, color illustrations in Fine condition by Arthur Rackham; they are printed on glossy paper, which is blank on the reverse. In addition, he has twenty-two line-drawings of varying size. The top page edge is gilt, there is no foxing, and there are no loose pages.
