Description: Up for bid, I have a porcelain figurine of a Japanese Chin, Spaniel, or Pekinese dog made by Augarten in the mid-20th century. This sweet little dog is white with painted black patches on his eyes, ears, back, shoulder, and tail. The dog is about 2.6 inches tall, 3.25 inches long, and 1.5 inches deep. The figure is in perfect condition. It is marked with the black number 27 and the impressed number 1677. The marks overlap, but the impressed mark looks like it says "AUGARTEN AUSTRIA." The bottom also appears to have an impressed shield mark. The dog is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, scuffs, or any other damage to note.
