Description: Authentic Hereke Rug Pure silk. Very fine weave and very thin. Been in the family for over 35 years, mainly rolled up. Needs to be used and appreciated. Purchased in the UK at Samad's in Knightsbridge in the late 70s or early 80s and it was considered antique then. Not sure of the age of this piece. The colors are light blue, pistachio green border, body is a wine red, with peach colors as well. In excellent condition. please note the rug is sitting on top of other rugs. The red one underneath is not part of the rug. One pic shows thickness of rug. Please note this is an authentic Hereke from Turkey, and not the Chinese ones you find on eBay. About 8' X 10'.
