Description: AWESOME ANTIQUE SALESMAN’S SAMPLE WOOD FURNITURE - VANITY with MIRROR This Awesome Salesman’s Sample Wood 3 Drawer Vanity Dresser with Tilting Mirror has no marks or labels and looks more hand made than commercially manufactured. It is 13” long by 7” deep by 10 3/4” tall to the top, or 21” tall with the wood framed mirror in place. the top long drawer is 11” by 6” by 1 1/4” not including the carved wood knobs. The 2 side drawers are 2 1/2” by 6” by 2 3/8”, and there is a 3” deep scooped shelf at the back of where the chair slides in. The legs have carved feet that match the knobs on the 3 drawers. As you can see in my photos, the wood on the bottom of the long drawer is from a wood crate that was from Argentina, whether or not this means it was made there is a mystery, for there are no other marks that I found. There is some wear around the edges of the wood normal to its age and having been moved around through the years, and what I believe to be the original mirror was taped in placer by its previous owner when I found this. Overall it is in good antique condition and such a unique piece of history.
