Description: Offered here is this Beautiful Antique Armchair with lovely carved accent details. The chair is a Louis XV style armchair, and is in sturdy condition, with some light surface scratches and dings to the dark finish on the solid wood frame. The gold velvet upholstery and seat bottom is in need of repair and reupholstery, with the springs poking through the woven support bottom. I am unsure of the actual age or manufacture of the chair. It has beautiful hand-carved accents and details, with slight cabriole curved front legs. The chair is 37” tall at the highest point of the backrest, about 17” tall at the seat, 26” wide across the arms, 26.5” wide across the front of the seat, 21” deep at the seat, 24” long front to back total, 22” wide across the seat inside the armrests. It is a beautiful antique armchair that will be an amazing piece in your collection with a little TLC and reupholstering.
