Description: Robert Hoey made planes in New York City active from 1834-1836. This is a beautiful large Cove with Astragal. Marked 1-1/8 on the heel. Plane stock measures 2-1/4" wide. Plane iron measures 1-1/2" wide. Really nice Cove with Astragal Plane. Circa 1835 in style. Plane iron and wedge appear to be original. This one is in great condition, showing very little wear over the years! Cleaned the dirt and grime but left the patina! Check out the other new listings today!
