We have BROWN and BLACK propolis- color depends on the time of year collected and the plants that the bees used to make the propolis>Brown is a light brown to dark brown in color>Black is dark brown to black in color Black, is slightly darker - not pure black (see picture above). Our propolis is hand scraped from the inside of our beehives and then hand cleaned. As careful as we are, it is possible that it may contain other foreign objects that can be found inside a beehive. We recommend that the propolis be processed and filtered when used in creams/ salves. NOTICE:We offer no advice on how to use this product.
