Description: Billbergia 'Foster's Striate' provides year-round foliage color accented with an occasional bloom. The plants multiply rapidly to make a lush bromeliad grouping (3rd photo). The bromeliad you receive will be an un-bloomed offset recently removed from the mother plant (similar to the last photo). It is ready to be potted up or planted in the ground and will usually have no roots when shipped. All plants are outdoor-grown and perfect for landscape use or indoor culture. Bill. 'Foster's Striate' will grow in full shade to partly-sunny conditions. In shade, the leaves will be stripes of dark and light green (first photo).
