Description: This listing is for High Quality 1" Black Iridescent Fire Stones Fire Glass. This fire glass has an iridescent surface that adds a unique look to your fire pit, and will accent the look of your flame, while beautifying your fire pit or fireplace. This is an awesome color!!! Fire Stones can be used alone, or added to your other fire glass as accents Simply use the drop down menu for the quantity you would like. If you have a specific quantity, not listed, or a large order, please contact me for pricing. How Much Glass do you need? For fireplace or square fire pits 1) Measure the width and depth (across and front to back) in inches 2) Multiply the width and depth. 3) Divide the result by 20 4) Multiply this number by the thickness of fire glass that you desire. This thickness should be enough to cover the pan burner. For Round Fire Pits 1) Take the radius (half of the measurement across the fire pit) {24" across = 12" radius} 2) Multiply the measurement by itself (12 x12 = 144) 3) Multiply by .15 (144 / .15 = 21.6) 4) Multiply this result by the number of inches of fire glass you desire (21.6 x 4 = 86.4 LBS) We recommend using clear filler for the base of your fire pit, just as a cost savings. Please see our other auctions for additional colors or clear filler. DO NOT USE with wood or wood pellet fuel. Fire Glass is only used on Gas fueled fireplaces, fire pits, or as decoration in landscaping, aquariums, or ponds.
