Description: Pair of vintage Borghese chalkware figures featuring a man and a woman returning from the fields with their tools and harvest, glazed in shades of yellow, ochre, and brown. Figures are about 8 inches high, on 3 by 5 inch dark wood bases (9 inches high with base). Original labels on the bottom. In very good condition, small chip on the end of the wheat bundle on each figure, some scratches on wood bases -- see pictures.
