She also wrote songs recorded by Bobby Womack, Aretha Franklin and Gladys Knight. In 1974 she recorded this double header with arranger/producer Larry Mizell. It was during Larry’s heyday period with other artists including Donald Byrd, Bobbi Humphrey and The Blackbyrds. All the classic hallmarks of the Mizell brothers sound are on this record.
