Brio Two-Level STONE TUNNEL (#33470) 1998 Limited Release with accessories!

Description: This is a cool two level scenic tunnel that allows you to have trains running over the top and through the tunnel itself at the same time. This tunnel was only made in 1998 and is somewhat rare. But it's a fun piece that let the kids think of some neat new layouts at a time when their interest in Brio was beginning to wane. (See my Breyer horse listings for what happened next in our lives). While this tunnel didn't see a whole lot of use, it does have signs that it was played with so please look carefully at all the pictures. It sells in AS IS condition. The scenic paint job still looks amazing and fresh, but there are some very minor dings in the wood here and there. To use the top track, there are slide out plastic tabs to hold the track up and those are working perfectly. I show the tunnel with them out, and then with them pushed in like they would be if using only the bottom track. To use both levels of track at the same time you need two ascending track pieces and at least two risers which I have included in this auction. I've also included four curved track pieces since I have plenty of those and either the top or bottom must curve away from the tunnel when using both levels. (That was what made them have to think of new layouts!) That's 9 total pieces of Brio in this auction. NOTE: I actually have two of these unusual tunnels, and would be willing to list the other if you were interested in having the second one as well. Just send me a message. The pictures show a full layout with all nine pieces, and a second layout just using the top with the ascenders straight up to the top of the tunnel. There's lots of fun ways to include this piece in your layout.
