Description: British WW1 Royal Navy Officer’s (Lieutenant-Commander) Cased Bicorn, Epaulettes and Sword Belt. Good overall condition, however, one epaulette has the metal clip broken off and needs to be repaired, still displays very nice. Hat is marker marked on interior Caffin & Son Tailors & Outfitters Chatham & Portsmouth. Case has small metal marker plaque on top for “Gieve Matthew & Seagrove Ltd. 21, George St. Hanover Sq.W.& At the princial Naval Ports”. Case is very heavily worn and missing the one half of the closing clip section. Case also has number plaque: RECd. No. 408847. A nice looking British Royal Navy Officer cased set.
