Description: The food bag is designed to be used as a small combat backpack for the first echelon as part of various types of equipment kits with Molle fastening. Initially, the bag was attached with loops to the belt, but in the summer of 2004, we began producing a modernized SMERSH kit specifically for the 45th Regiment. One of the features of the modernized kit was the attachment of the SPP bag to Molle. • The bag has two compartments - a large main one and a small one in the flap. The main compartment can contain engineering and additional ammunition for small arms in packs, a small ration, underwear, a water filter, a light sleeping bag, etc. Additionally, inside the main compartment there are two additional pockets with a Velcro fastener. The pocket in the flap is fastened with Velcro. The tube of the main compartment is pulled together with a cord with a stopper and closed with a flap fastened with plastic fasteners. • To attach additional equipment, Molle belt straps are sewn onto the outer and side walls of the SPP.• The back wall is lined with Molle straps to attach the bag to belts, body armor and tactical vests, or shoulder straps with the back. It occupies 5 Molle cells in width. For wearing as a backpack, the kit includes four straps with carabiners, rings and adjustment buckles with which the SPP is worn over vests or fastened to the shoulder support straps of the belt equipment kits. To attach removable straps with carabiners and shoulder straps of the belt kits, two D-shaped metal rings are sewn on the top of the back wall and on the bottom. As a bag, it is carried by the handle made of belt tape on the valve. As a result, we get an analogue of a backpack that can be carried not only on the back, but also on the lower back or in the hand. • On the bottom of the SPP there are two belt loops threaded through plastic buckles, with the help of which you can attach a rolled-up raincoat, poncho or heat-insulating mat to the SPP.• The SPP is equipped with two eyelets on the bottom to drain moisture (for example, when overcoming water obstacles).
