Description: Sweet set of little German bisque head sister dolls....both heads are marked with the Goebel marking of a crown over WG (marking on the damaged head was a shallow impression and more difficult to see)....c. 1910....approximately 6" tall....while not perfect, it is amazing that these dolls have remained together and that they were cherished enough to repair....100% Original, untouched condition....one bisque head was broken and repaired many years ago....the other head is perfect....both retain their original five-piece paper mache' bodies which have some chipping to their toes....factory-original clothing is yellowed from age and storage....dresses are a little faded on the front and more vibrant on the back....retain their original crepe paper petticoats and and lace-trimmed gauze pantalettes....from a non-smoking and pet-free home....please study all photos, feel free to ask questions, and be sure to check out my other interesting antique auctions!
