Three Little Pigs box graphics on the box are just wonderful, and the way it opens is very unique. . Pictures show the box in the closed position & also show it in the open position. When the box is closed, it shows the wolf climbing the brick house. When it's pushed up (opened) it shows him falling into the hot water. The back shows the wolf blowing the house down. The box is in good complete intact condition with some slight discoloring and wear from age. The pencils have been used, but are all there and in good condition. This is a rare piece! Such great packaging and art work! It measures 5 ¾” in high and 2 ½” in wide with 1920's box patent dates on one side, this is not a Walt Disney 3 Pigs piece, it's an earlier item based on the child's story but right on par with Walt Disney Company graphics, super imagery both sides, in VG condition with some expected age/edge wear, great vintage art supply collectible. Offering for antique collectible display purposes only ~ top flap intact & fine but old paper is stiff & we don’t want to open flap to remove pencils. We have seen two different versions of the No. 174 Three Little Pigs graphics on the box & this one seems to be slightly more scarce to find out of the two known versions.
