Description: I remember an old article in a newspaper that I first heard of "the blanket shop". Boeing, the airplane maker, had ladies in the Seattle area working at a shop making blankets or insulation for the airplane cabins. I think the article was about them who were going to lose their jobs because Boeing was going to hire real, real cheap labor in Mexico to do the work (like saving 95% on wages). I remember it because I'm not a union supporter, but it was a case where I was just thinking that really, you go to another country and pay sweatshop prices for the labor when you could at least afford to pay them twice or thrice that and still make a killing on savings. Anyhow, of course with the Boeing Unions constantly striking they probably have some of it coming. Still though, if you are going to take advantage of cheap labor, you don't have to be that greedy doing it. At least when they went to SC they paid a somewhat decent labor price. Sorry, rant up there. Anyhow, this is a cookbook from the blanket shop in Washington state, it's about 200+ pages, the pages that stick out a little too far have bumping wear along them. This will be more clear than the digital photo shows. The high bidder is to pay for shipping, international shipping will be much more, sorry but the P.O. drastically increased postage for international packages. We will combine auctions to save on shipping. Ebay's rules only allow us to advertise electronic payments for payment options so we do accept Paypal. Winning bidder may notify us of their payment type preference if need be. There is a full refund offered if needed as well. Ninety percent of the time we can get our items packaged up and sent out the next business day, though sometimes it might take an extra day or two if we're really busy on the farm. Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK! IMPORTANT: Due to the postal service price increases we are NOT allowing international bidders at this time. In many cases the prices have doubled to a ridiculous amount. If you are really that interested and need a postage quote, you may email, however, do note that even 2 oz. items are being charged over $10 in postage to mail overseas.
