Description: Hasselblad X2D 100c Cable GuardMOTIVATIONI'm a professional photographer and I designed this to support tethered shooting with the X2D-100c in a studio situation. I had a lot of issues with the cable coming loose or even falling out. In my first shoot with the camera I even lost some images which was pretty embarrassing since the client was on set and we were smashing cakes so there wasn't any way to redo the shots. I created this for my own use, but since it took a lot of effort I thought I'd offer it for sale to the community. The images are for reference and the listing does not include the pictured camera or cable. OVERVIEWThis cable guard is for use on the new Hasselblad X2D-100c. It is 3d printed in high quality PET-G plastic and will protect your camera's USB-C port and keep your cable from coming loose. This tethering solution snaps on to the shoulder strap lug and then screws into a block that holds the usb cable. The cable clamp is held in place with a set screw and it's strong enough that I can lift the camera by the cable. I've designed it to fit snuggly to the IQwire by Nine-Volt (https://nine-volt.com/products/iqwire-the-intelligent-photography-tether-cable?variant=33623055433787). For me, this is the only USB cable that works reliably with this camera. Smaller plug sizes will also fit by adjusting the included metal grub screw which will help to keep smaller plugs tight and centered in the opening. I'll include two styles of set screw: one is low profile but requires an 11mm hex socket to tighten and the other is a larger knurled knob that can be tightened by hand.
