Originally given no title, then named Whirling Star, called by some Buzz Saw. Advertised as "Extra Heavy Near-Cut". Sugar, Creamer and Covered Butter Dish. The covered butter has deep slashes whirled from left to right on both domed lid and base. Finial is hexagonal, paneled knob. See full description for more detail. According to our research, Dated 1909. Originally given no title, then named WHIRLING STAR, called by some BUZZ SAW. Advertised as "Extra Heavy Near-Cut". Consisting of Sugar, Creamer and Covered Butter. The covered butter has deep slashes whirled from left to right on both domed lid and base. Finial is hexagonal, paneled knob. Creamer stands 2 1/4" tall, Sugar 2 1/4" tall. Butter is 4" in diameter. All in good condition. Spout and rim of creamer feel rough, possibly teensy chips but could also be from manufacture. We can't tell with magnifier. Some points on sugar are nipped, and there is one chip inside a point. ALL POINTS ON BUTTER ARE PERFECT. We can detect no chips. Lid has one tiny chip along lower rim.
