This lantern measures approximately 6 x 3.7 x 14.75 inches. To change the battery, first remove the metal hanger by popping it out from where it attaches to either side of the lantern. Flip the top over and unscrew the two small screws that are in the middle square portion. Remove the plastic cover and then you will have access to the battery.
