Description: Band of ring was acid tested to be 925 silver. I am not an expert in gemology and use an app called "Rock Identifier" to determine the properties of the gemstone in the jewelry pieces I sell. It isn't 100% accurate so I'm unable to verify accuracy. The app identified the chemical properties of the gemstone in this piece to be carnelian agate. The app identifies the chemical properties of the natural stone. The app cannot distinguish between lab-created and natural gemstones since, in most cases, lab-created gemstones use the raw material of a natural gemstone to enhance its appearance.
