This kit will fit CV 12" woofers which use red surrounds. These surrounds have an angled attachment to the cone, but will still fit on the woofers that have a flat attachment with some patience. These foams are the high quality surrounds, red on top and gray on the bottom. The plastic shims are used to center the voice coil and cone assembly while the speaker is being refoamed. CV speakers have a very tight voice coil gap which leaves little room for error.
