Description: This vintage vase by Imperial Glass is a stunning addition to any collection. The chocolate slag glass pattern adds a unique touch to the brown and white marble design. The vase was pressed in the United States and has an incised backstamp. With its Art Deco style and glossy finish, this vase is a beautiful decorative piece. It is made of glass and has a vintage feel. The vase is perfect for displaying flowers or simply as a standalone decorative item. This original piece was made prior to 1984. Imperial closed their doors for good that year. The majority of the slag glass was made in the 60’s but the stamp on this piece indicates it was made after the Lenox Company took over the business in the early 80’s. My guess on time period would be between 1980 and 1984. The vase is thick and has some weight to it, almost 3 pounds. It is about 6” tall, base is about 2” wide and the top opening is about 4”. The glass is about 1/2” thick.
