Oh, did I tell you that I seen Bro Gailey. He enlisted in the 104 Ohio. J____ _______ at Danville yet. Andrew heard from him lately. Joe had received a box of provisions that they sent him a good while ago. I exit Joe was a happy boy when it reached him in that Southern Dungeon. Our Boys that were taken at Chickamauga will hardly be with us again in the field. Only 10 of our Company are prisoners at the present time. We have to 26 men present, ___ one hundred & one when we came out first. About 20 of them died & were killed in Battle. Letters from home tell me that the people about Salem are being called away from Earth almost daily. Webster Davidson & _____ brothers are both dead.
