The back of this shirt was originally designed by Brock in 1963 when the Cobras began their quest to take the GT Championship away from venerable Ferrari. We bring back Peter Brock's classic COBRA COBRA COBRA shirt design and update it with a long sleeve version as well. It is cleverly designed with a bold COBRA down the left arm so you can show off your loyalties just by driving down the road with your arm on your window sill. The design on the front of today’s shirt has been updated to call out that the Cobras (both roadsters and Daytona Coupes) won that Championship in 1965. The only difference in these shirts from those of the '60s is the quality. "I couldn't convince anyone at Shelby American to buy a decent shirt. They were so cheap you could see through them." These BRE shirts are Beefy-Ts, made of 100% cotton which feels terrific next to your skin. It's ring-spun for super softness and tightly knit for smoothness and strength. It comes in a heavy 6.1-oz weight for versatile year-round wear. Shoulder-to-shoulder taping helps prevent raveling and rip-out and a full cut ensures roomy comfort.
