Are Belts are embossed, and come with a snap closure to use your own buckle or ours. The Belts are all made from one piece of genuine top grain leather there is no glue or stitching. All of our belts come with either a brass or shiny silver belt buckle. Brown belts will come with a brass buckle and black belts will come with a shiny silver buckle If you prefer a different buckle please specify. Also, DO NOT order the size printed on the back of an old belt. The sizes printed on the back of your current belt are in most instances not your belt size, since they stretch.WE NEED THE ACTUAL MEASUREMENT OF WHERE THE BELT IS WORN. THAT IS THE "SIZE" TO ORDER. WE WILL MAKE THAT YOUR CENTER HOLE & MAKE 2 SMALLER & 2 LARGER, TOTAL OF FIVE HOLES. Best and recommended way is to measure an existing belt. Measurement begins from the tip of the buckle prong (see photo) to whichever hole is currently being used. That measurement is the "SIZE" to order. We make the center hole at that size with two holes bigger & two holes smaller (total of five holes). If you are between measurements always go to the larger size(you can always add a hole if needed) if you measure your waist correctly; the belt you receive should allow you to buckle it in the center hole allowing 2 holes on either side for flexibility. **If you are using your own buckle you may need to adjust 2 inches depending on the type of buckle.**MEN: A general rule of thumb (but not 100% accurate) is to add 2" to PANT size. Example: If PANT size is 36" then order 38" belt. This is not the best way and may not always work.LADIES: Please do not use your pants size, that is not your belt size. Instead use an existing belt or a tape measure. Be sure to measure where you plan to wear belt (waist, hips or somewhere in between). Measure as described in above paragraphs.
