Description: Very rare to find a carved smoothed bone breast plate bead in the Columbia River area. This was found at Lyons Ferry on the Snake but still in our Columbia River area. Drilled all the way through the center and smoothed and shaped. Now this is a real artifact not new reproduction it is very well made and an original bone artifact. It is cracked down one side but still very solid bone and has been treated to preserve it. We have had this in our collection for over 60 years and now offer it for you to add to your collection. I am sure you have seen old photos of the Native Americans wearing a beaded breast plate. Well, here is a original bead off one of those. Only one I ever found in the many miles and years of walking the beaches. Thank you
