Description: No letter - cover only. Addressed to what appears to be a Confederate general, but can't quite make out the name. Charleston, SC postmark dtd Feb 8th 1862. Five cent stamp cut short on right side. Some notation on this "homemade" cover and the sender A. M. Lee(?) may have been a CS Major writing to a general in an official capacity. I was able to find a A.M Lea, a Confederate officer online. Perhaps whomever opened the letter misspelled the name?
