Conte Adventures of the Foreign Legion Play set

Description: Adventures of the Foreign Legion Play Set - FIELDS OF GLORY. MIB. Up for sale is a mint in box playset by Conte Collectibles, Legends of the Siver Screen. "Adventures of the Foreign Legion" is the second playset in the Foreign Legion series pitting the Legion against the desert Tauregs. This is a figure-rich set centred around two large landform pieces depicting sand dunes, one with desert ruins ideal for placing figures in defensive positions and one sloping and plain. Larger sand dune is about 17" x 11 1/2" x 12" and smaller is about 16" x 11" x 12 1/2". There are 6 bags of foreign legion figures containing literally all of the generic poses that Conte made for these both from the Beau Geste original playset and new poses for this set. I didn't open the bags to do a precise figure count but according to PFPC's review of this set, the foreign legion figures include multiple figures of poses from the first "BeauGeste Playset" as well as multiple figures in 8 new poses from the "Adventures" playset. Said otherwise, this set includes all of Conte's foreign legion poses from figure sets 1, 2 and 3. These include a machine gun and two figure crew and a figure with interchangeable plug in arms that can be used with knife or rifle. Their are 5 bags of desert warriors, each containing 4 poses from the first playset and 4 new poses for this playset. Again, arms and weapons on one figure are interchangeable and figure with sword and shield is designed to interact with legionnaire fighting with sword. Also included with the set are accessories (bags, crates, etc) and a letter from the set's producer, Richard Conte. Please see photos provided.
