Description: CORELLE BUTTERFLY GOLD - 1970 Butterfly Gold was part of the initial Corelle introduction in 1970. This set is in very good vintage condition. The pattern is still bright and, with the exception of the berry and cereal bowls, the backstamps have very little fading. There is a small stain on the platter (see picture). My mom had Corelle in the 70's and added a Winter White set to each of the "hope chests" she filled for my sisters and me. 40 years on, I still use mine everyday and it has really stood the test of time; it is as fresh and bright as it was on day 1.
