At one point, there were as many as 15 gold mines operating within a 2 mile radius of this town. This sheet is part of a large collection of billheads, letterheads and covers that just came to market with a connection to Mr. Wear and the products he purchased to offer for sale to his customers. This cover is addressed to Mr. Wear at "Sulphur Mines, VA" - a nearby town to Mineral.Showing signs of age, use or handling consistent with it's age. 100% of the text is legible. In good condition.
