It is classified as super bulky, but it can be knitted down to a worsted gauge. The fiber content is 67% wool, 18% Viscose and 15% nylon, so it should be safe for most children and it will wear well. It can be machine washed in cool water but should be laid out flat to dry. DO NOT BLEACH. It can be ironed with a cool iron. Gauge: Knit: 11 stitches per 4 inches in stockinette on US size 10 needles. Crochet: 7-9 stitches per 4 inches in single crochet on US size J10 hook.
