About the plates These Steel/Alloy plates are sized to the Fender standard: 2" x 2.5" with holes on center at 1" left, 2" right, and 1.5" across, and about 2mm thick. NOTE: Some guitars use neck plates whose left-side screw holes are 1.1" apart - if you're not sure, measure to make sure that you are ordering the correct plate. About the engraving High resolution engraving is performed with one of our lasers, engraving a fraction-of-an-inch into the surface. The plates show engraving in a rich brown color.
