Description: This gorgeous custom made vintage semi translucent Bakelite cherry amber necklace is 26" long and comprised of graduated faceted oval shaped beads. The beads are 1 1/8", 1", 3/4", 1/2" and 3/8" long. The necklace was commissioned for a special lady as indicated by the slide lock clasp. The face of the clasp has a highly stylized initial of the lucky lady! On the back it is marked 12K GF. Obviously, this was not a mass produced necklace but made for a particular lady of some means. This a real knockout piece!! Each of the beads is a lovely semi translucent cherry amber color and have diamond shaped facets. Tiny pearlesque beads separate the smaller Bakelite beads and larger plastic beads were used to separate the larger Bakelite beads.
