DANIEL BUREN art multiple (2021) - MMS Creator Projects (Copenhagen) ed of 1000

Description: Up for bid is a beautiful art multiple designed by the acclaimed French artist DANIEL BUREN. This Untitled sculpture consists of 7 lacquered (4 white, 3 yellow) wooden MDF blocks with embedded magnets that allow the owner to display/connect the blocks in a variety of ways. As is common with many of Buren's multiples, this artwork was produced in several different color ways... Green, Red, Yellow and Black (edition of 250 for each color, complete edition of 1000). The overall dimensions of the first image measures 3.5" x 24" x .625". The multiple includes the original cardboard storage box as shown which measures 5" x 4" x 3.75". The production quality of this multiple is stunning and closely resembles the artist's well known 2001 edition entitled La Barre Haute (The High Bar), which was originally designed to be installed centered above a door (as shown in the last 2 images).
