The rear derailleur says 1978… he said he bought the bike new around 1979/80 so that makes sense. At some point in the 1990’s it was repainted by cycleart. There is some bubbling in a few places and the bottom bracket shell paint isn’t good at the edges plus normal wear and tear. When I got the bike it was covered in dirt and grime and hadn’t been ridden in almost 20 years. Stored in his garage. I pulled off all the parts and cleaned everything. Fresh grease in all the bearings. All the parts are clean Would be a great rider or would be a showpiece if you wanted to repaint it. It’s not my size so I’ve got to make space for other projects
