Description: Dennis Fletcher & Son Racing Cycles of Redditch, England, also referred to as “D.G. Fletcher & Son of Great Britain”. A 55 cm Reynolds’s 531 frame, with a Cinelli alloy bar, steel stem, bike is built with Campagnolo Record Pista cranks and hubs, special two-sided cutaway pedals with exposed red-painted spindles. Notice the Fletcher shield on the fork blades and Super Champion Competition rims, all original with the bike. The bike in general is all original except for the tires. Also notice the proprietory soldered spokes, then common with serious racing wheelsets. I have had this bike for over 30 years. Since in my possession, I have never ridden it. I am the third owner. It’s a good, solid, straight, original frameset in good condition with the usual small scratches and some paint wear and fade. I consider this one to be almost a “barn find”, and I have never seen another similar track frameset despite my many years of searching. Seat is not included unless you want it. I will not separate the wheels due to the originality of the complete frameset as it came from the factory. It has always been kept in a temperature controlled basement showcase room with my other 50+ vintage frames and complete bikes. I am not accepting International bidders or purchasers.
