DIOCLETIANVS P.F. AVG.". The reverse shows the legend "SALVS AVGG ET CAESS FEL KART", and shows Carthage standing left holding fruits in both hands. The piece shows an attractive color that has a dark brown, with light green in the fields and protected areas, and a few scattered copper highlights showing through.
